4. Author variants at a glance
5. Registration for the congress
1. Formal criteria
To submit an abstract, you have to register first on our homepage. After setting up a personal account, you will receive confirmation of your access data. This combination is also valid for further abstract submissions and prevents you from re-entering your address data. Make sure that you use a valid e-mail address.
Abstracts can be submitted in German and English (unless there is an additional note stating that submission is only possible in English, e.g. for international congresses).
The abstract text may contain a maximum of 500 words.
The abstract is subdivided into the following sections: Introduction, Methods, Results and Summary.
Abstracts will be reused 1:1. Therefore, please pay attention to spelling and grammar; abstracts will not be proofread before publication in the abstract volume. Changes are not possible after submission.
Please check that the name, address and e-mail address of the submitter are complete and correct.
The number of co-authors is not limited.
2. Guidelines
The submitted abstract may not be published elsewhere. The authors transfer all rights to the publishing service in connection with the editorial preparation, publication and distribution of the article to bsh medical communications GmbH. The copyright remains unaffected by this.
The work was only presented in the context of a lecture/poster presentation and was not published in any written form.
Previously published abstracts can be submitted if it is indicated at the end of the abstract text that it is a second publication. The medium in which the first publication was published must also be stated. Please note that no exclusive rights have been agreed with the publishing house for the first publication. In this case, submission is not possible.
Submitters assume responsibility for the accuracy of the data submitted and for any copyright infringements.
Industrial companies: Abstracts for company presentations or marketing purposes are not permitted. Scientific papers or studies are not affected. Accepted abstracts may only be presented by the scientifically responsible representative.
3. After successful submission
- After successful submission of your abstract, the corresponding author will automatically receive an e-mail confirmation from us. If you do not receive a confirmation, please contact bsh medical communications GmbH at [email protected].
- All submitted abstracts will be evaluated anonymously by at least three reviewers.
- After the review process, the corresponding author will be notified by e-mail whether the abstract has been accepted or rejected. Detailed information regarding the presentation of posters and papers will be sent in good time.
- The presenting author must register for the congress via the online registration form. The submission of an abstract does not count as congress registration.
4. Author variants at a glance
- First author: The requirement is that the first author is also the presenting author. Other submission constellations automatically lead to rejection of the abstract.
- All communication regarding the abstract submission will be made via the e-mail address provided.
- Presenting author (= first author): The presentation of the abstract is the sole responsibility of the first author.
- Co-authors: When submitting, please list all other authors in the desired order. Please note that it is not possible to change the given data after successful submission.
5. Registration for the congress
- Presenting authors with an accepted abstract must register for the congress using the online registration form. Papers by authors who have not registered for the congress will not be published. Please note the communicated deadline for congress registration.
