EPC Travel Grants

The EPC will award travel grants of €400 to EPC, KPBA and ESP members who do not have other funding to attend the 2025 EPC meeting. To apply, please tick the 'I would like to be considered for a travel grant' box on the registration form. 

 

Application for a travel grant to the 57th Annual Meeting in Dusseldorf is only open to abstract submitters (presenting author) who meet one of the following conditions: 

1. EPC, KPBA or ESP members younger than 35 years of age. 

2. EPC members from an Eastern European country. 

 

Applications will be accepted until March 17th 2025.

First EPC Female Scientist Award

The European Pancreatic Club (EPC) Female Scientist Award will be granted for the first time at the EPC Meeting 2025! 

 

This prestigious prize recognizes the best-scored abstract submitted as first author by a female scientist. 

 

This initiative highlights and supports outstanding female researchers in the field of pancreatic basic or clinical research. Don't miss this opportunity — submit your abstract and be part of this milestone! The applicants are required to be EPC member in good standing and to participate to the EPC meeting 2025 in person in order to present their work and receive this prestigious Award. 

Apply for the YOUPPIE Award 2025! 

The YOUPPIE award is an honorific appointment for young clinical or basic scientists with a brilliant career in the field of pancreatology.

The YOUPPIE award recognizes important achievements in scientific research, expansion of scientific knowledge, and achievements in applying scientific research to clinical practice. It also provides a basis for young pancreatologists to progress further in their research work and careers.

  • Invitation to give a presentation during the YOUPPIE session at the EPC Annual Meeting 2025
  • The YOUPPIE awardees (a woman and a man) will be encouraged by the EPC to apply for the United European Gastroenterology (UEG) Rising Star Award
  • The YOUPPIE awardees will receive a three-year free membership to the EPC, starting on Jan. 1, 2026
